Description
A sugar Refractometer for measuring the specific gravity or Brix of unfermented wort.
This refractometer offers both Brix % and Specific Gravity values, and comes with automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
A refractometer will allow you to take instant gravity measurements during mash run-off or during the boil. It works like a hydrometer except you only need a few drops and there is no need to cool a trial jar of liquid before taking a reading. Using a refractometer lets you check the progress of your brew so you can make adjustments along the way. A valuable tool for all-grain and extract brewers.
To use, apply 2-3 drops to the prism face, close the cover and wait 30 seconds. Look through the eye-piece – the line on the screen will show the Brix % and Specific Gravity reading.
Includes a hard case.
Specs
Automatic Temperature Compensation: 10-30 degrees C

The Refractometer has made my brew day a whole lot easier. Just a few drops and I’m getting a quick and accurate reading. It was easy to calibrate too.
