Our home brew supplies are always fresh and we partner with local Australian producers as a priority. Small Batch Brew home brew recipe kits are made to order and we mill (crush) your grain just before it is sent. This ensures that all flavours are true to the beer style you are making. Did we mention that we only stock the best current crop hops and these are all vacuum sealed. Why wouldn’t you want to start Small Batch Brewing and make brewery quality fresh beer!

I am fairly new to homebrewing and am pleased with this effort. No problem following recipe, and the result is, as others have reviewed, a light crisp Pilsner – and for me, without the usual odour that accompanies homebrew.
I will be back to try other recipes as I like the size.
If you make 23 litres of disappointing beer it is a bummer!
So this small batch is just right.

This was the first brew I tried out and it turned out pretty darn well! A very nice crisp beer perfect for hot summer days and very easy to drink. the only downside is that you’ll want more. I found the instructions a little tricky to follow as they are lacking clarification in some areas like calculating the abv but most areas are covered in detail. Overall an excellent one for your first brew that will inspire you for your second batch. Cheers and beers!

I brewed this as my first ever brew so I wasn’t expecting much, but to my surprise it was drinkable. Wasn’t the best beer I’ve had, but that was probably me rather than the recipe. The instructions were very easy to follow.

Brew went well, during fermentation I was sceptical with a “brain” looking glob forming (freaked out the Mrs), however once the fermentation completed and the solids dropped it produced a clear beer. Two weeks in the keg and what a drop! Nice hop flavour with a malty background.
I prefer using Irish moss instead of Whirlfloc, but each to their own. Happy to try the supplied ingredients.
