Star Anise Cold Steep Brown Ale
This Small Batch Brew Brown Ale home brew recipe is smooth, creamy with notes of licorice. The dark grains have been cold steeped for 24 hours, filtered through filter paper and added to the fermenter at pitching temperature. The end result is a smooth brown ale with a long finish and big mouthfeel. Making it with dark malt extract sped up the brew day.
